After loosing our Bichon (Muffin) August of 98, I went searching on the internet for another puppy to love. I knew I didn't want another white dog because it would have reminded me too much of Muffin. I came across a breed named Coton de Tulear and thought, what kind of dog is this, I never heard of it. After doing some more research I found a picture of a Coton puppy and immediately fell in love. I didn't realize at the time that the Coton was a rare breed and you had to be put on a waiting list.

After much anticipation, on August 9th 1999 we drove to Alika Cotons in New Jersey to pick up our new baby girl. Asha whose former name was Marti was born May 22nd 1999. She is an absolute love. Wherever I am she is right behind me. She likes to play, cuddle, and gives you tons of  kisses.
